About the Game

Memory Palace, for people who love memory card games.

Game Modes

  • Adventure - Someone kidnapped the princess! To save her you must match all the cards, without losing all your HP, in increasingly difficult encounters. Don't worry, there are powerful items and equipment to help overcome the Elephant King's powerful henchmen.  And someone is leaving notes around with clues on where to go.

  • Arcade - Set your own puzzle size and play a traditional game of Memory. Best times and fewest moves for each category are saved.

Over World

Use the mouse or WASD to explore the palace and its surrounds. Approach an enemy to begin a battle. Press ESC or click the return icon in the top right to ESCAPE the battle and return to the over world. Useful for taking another look at the overturned cards at the start of a battle.

There are notes to read and signs to follow however an exceptionally skilled player can also march right in the palace main entrance and straight up the towers.

Combat - Memory Game

The goal is to match pairs of cards to do damage to your foes. A missed match allows each enemy to deal damage back. You are awarded XP for each win. When you level up you gain 1 HP to help you last longer in more difficult fights.

Harder enemies have more cards making them more challenging to take down. They can also gang up, allowing weaker enemies to present a formidable challenge. On top of this, many enemies have unique abilities that affect the cards in interesting and challenging ways.

When a battle starts, all cards are facing up for a moment giving you a chance for a quick appraisal and the hugely satisfying Perfect Match. By matching all the cards in a battle without a single mistake you achieve a Perfect Match and receive double experience for that fight.

Find and equip armor to negate incoming damage, completely re-framing the challenge.

Find and use health pots to restore hp in battle, lanterns to illuminate the cards in battle and other powerful items to help give you an edge. If you do run out of HP you will respawn at the last campfire you visited. Your progress is automatically saved.
