About the Game

Melancholia Maze is a brief atmospheric adventure that was originally developed as a university project for mental health awareness. 

Step into a surreal, oppressive version of home where you must complete a handful of steps like chores or self care in order to escape.

But you’re not alone. If the other "occupants" of the house catch you, you’ll find yourself back where you started, in your bedroom, forced to try again.

Melancholia Maze is a short, narrative-driven experience intended to evoke empathy and understanding for the struggle of depression.
