Design and furnish thy humble shop, balancing both function and form. Choose where to lay thy wares, arrange thy aisles with care, and craft a welcoming space where townsfolk may browse with ease and comfort.
Procure stock through thy trusty ledger or trade parchment. Unpack barrels and crates, store thy goods wisely in the backroom, and display them upon shelves, in cool cellars, or among iceboxes for those goods that perish quickly.
Tend the counter with diligence. Weigh items, tally sums, and accept payment in coin or noble promissory notes. Ensure each patron leaves with pouch lighter, heart glad, and arms full.
Reinvest thy hard-earned silver wisely. Expand thy shop’s walls, lay finer stone and timber, and ever adapt thy wares to match the needs of commoners, knights, and nobles alike.
