In Medieval Ascendant, you write your own saga in the harsh medieval world of the fantasy realm Aldred. You begin as a simple serf with no possessions and fight your way up through the rigid social hierarchy over generations. When your character passes away, your legacy lives on in your heir. Each generation decides the rise or fall of your dynasty.

Tend your fields, master a craft, or dominate the market and build a vast production network across five unique provinces. Shape the realm to your liking through supremacy in economy, war, or intrigue. Whether you ultimately ascend the throne through bloody campaigns, dark scheming, or the ruthless power of coin is entirely up to you. rn

Found your dynasty and climb the feudal social order over generations. Full patriarchal system with genetics, inheritance, education, and strategic alliances through marriage and dowry.

Five provinces with local markets, population-driven demand, prosperity, NPC competitors who influence the market, and seasonal fluctuations. Droughts, plagues, and wars affect the economy. Use your economic power to make provinces flourish or starve.

Multiple production chains to manufacture every available good in the game. Each province offers unique advantages for producing certain goods. Build houses for the population, but make sure there are enough homeless to occupy your houses.

Wage war against rival houses or defend the realm against invading neighbors. Every battle carries the risk that your character dies or is permanently injured. Each battle spans multiple rounds — watch your breathing, for an exhausted character is easily wounded. Prepare yourself and equip your character with weapon, armor, and shield.

Death is not the end. Your legacy is carried on through the generations. Customize your playstyle by focusing on economy, combat, diplomacy, intrigue, or dynasty. Multi-tiered development of legacies.
