About the Game

A real, row-based card battler: "Il Duello — Duel of the Brush"

At its core, this is a two-row card battle with real bite: best-of-three rounds, hand attrition, and the mind games of when to pass. Which cards do you spend this round, and where do you pass to save your hand for the next? Front and back rows, plus effects like Growth, Bond, Rally, and Weather, set up satisfying comebacks in a game of reads and bluffs.

  • Every painting you save adds a reward card. A cleared heroine joins your hand as an ally card, so your deck-building options widen the further you go.

  • Rebuild your deck any time from home. Combine a banner (leader) and special cards to grow a hand of your own—your Il Mazzo.

  • No dead ends, no cheap losses. Losing carries no penalty and you can rematch as often as you like. Difficulty scales with progression (price/fame), the very first painting is a tutorial-grade fight, and special effects all resolve automatically—no fiddly target-selection UI. Easy to pick up, deep to master.

Step into the painting and set its heroine free

You've inherited an old gallery from your grandfather—and discovered you have a singular gift: you can step inside paintings. Behind each frame lives a beautiful woman burdened by a worry of her own. Drive off the villains and monsters poisoning her world in a duel, solve what troubles her, and she becomes your ally—and opens her heart.

A brisk loop: work → buy → duel → reward

Earn money in part-time minigames (sketching caricatures, mixing paint), buy masterpieces at the exhibition, hang them at home, and step into the duel inside. Every quick lap grows your deck and your collection. Any cleared painting can be revisited any time in Recollection mode.

Twelve heroines, twelve masterpieces

Titian, Botticelli, Vermeer, Goya, Manet, Ingres, Klimt, da Vinci… Twelve heroines, each an entirely original fictional character drawn from the composition and motifs of an immortal masterpiece. A pure goddess, a girl glancing back, a proud lady, an enigmatic older woman—the order of conquest is gated by each work's fame and price, building toward a show-stopping heroine who evokes that legendary painting at the very end. Card art, standees, and backgrounds are unified in one decadent, aesthetic "gallery" style.

And, for the victor: a reward for adults

Win the duel and a reward scene unfolds as a visual novel—from the afterglow of victory into an intimate scene that plays to each heroine's personality. This title contains adult (sexual) content for ages 18+ behind an age gate; see the Mature Content Description on this page for details.
