Description
Two brothers. One vanished into the ruins first. Now you play the one left behind.
Marzu begins as your brother's story an explorer drawn into ancient ruins that were never meant to be found. When he disappears without a trace, you take his place, following the same corridors, the same warnings, and the same whispers that swallowed him whole. You have no weapons and no way to fight back. Your only chance is to stay hidden, stay quiet, and know when to run.
Gameplay
Marzu is a first-person survival horror game told through two perspectives. You begin as the first brother, exploring the ruins and encountering the first signs that something is wrong. When he becomes trapped, you take control of the second brother, whose journey is about uncovering the truth — not just surviving it.
Across your journey you'll move through vast ancient halls, cramped tunnels, and an overgrown forest buried within the ruins, each hiding its own dangers and its own guardian. There is no combat, no weapons, and no way to fight what hunts you. Survival depends entirely on stealth — staying out of sight, controlling your noise, and choosing the right moment to move.
Atmosphere
Realistic lighting, detailed ancient architecture, and immersive 3D sound design bring each biome of Marzu to life from the echoing stone of the great halls to the choking dark of the tunnels and the unnatural quiet of the forest. As you go deeper, even the world around you stop making sense.
