About the Game

Caius has grown up in a land of fear. His closest companion was a dretchling named Priam, a mortal with the blood of fiends. The two were inseparable until a dire situation caused Priam  to turn to his infernal inheritance to protect them both. Caius spurned his friend, and was adopted out of Thrycia, but the weight of his sin has never left his shoulders.

Now twenty years old, Caius seeks atonement through joining the ranks of not the heroic Celestials, but the shifty Emissaries. With the threat of war demanding the Celestials' attention, Caius wishes to hunt down devils in hopes of forging a land where dretchlings like Priam are not treated as monsters. However the pious youth has much to learn, for many equate the Emissaries to legalized criminals.

With his recruiter being the cold-blooded Griswyr, Caius now embarks on his first assignment. Will this journey be everything he hopes for, or will his piety be a curse in disguise?
