About the Game

Mangút is a story-driven precision platformer about Gil, a hedgehog who makes app deliveries in Morro do Mangút to support his family. In a city that demands everything and gives little back, every delivery is a race against the clock, and every choice can change the course of his story.

Gil's grappling hook latches onto the light pipes strung across the city: you swing, climb, build momentum and let go at the exact right moment. Firing the hook slows time so you can aim, the dash smashes through walls and throws you back into the air, and it all chains into a traversal that rewards anyone chasing the perfect line. No combat, just you against the level and the clock.

Every frame is painted by hand, from the sunlit favela to the forest and the backstage of a TV network. Day turns to night, rain falls over the hillside and wind shoves you mid-air, while an original soundtrack carries the run. Morro do Mangút is a living place, named after a fruit and full of people you come to know.

By day you race the clock to keep up with deliveries; by night you decide how to spend what you earned: pay the bills, buy decorations for your home, or boosters that give you an edge on the next run. Every money decision weighs on Gil's family and brings him closer to making the month. It is a delivery rider's routine turned into a game, with real urgency and real consequences.

Along the way Gil meets Carlinha, the veteran rider who knows every shortcut; Seu Agnaldo, the old friend who dreams bigger; and Hook, the man who owns the app and the TV station and sets the price of everything. Branching dialogue shapes these relationships and where the story goes, in a cast of Brazilian animals living the same struggle.

Scattered across the 20 levels are Mangút seeds, the rare Super Mangúts and lambe-lambe posters, hidden just off the easy path for players who love to explore. Optional timers turn every level into a speedrun challenge, and the perfect line is always a little beyond the one you just pulled off.
