Mandela Invasion VR: Alternates

Found tapes depict events leading to mysterious disappearances and murders with no clear culprit. With no more evidence than a couple of emergency calls describing unusual behavior in certain people who appear mostly human, you will relive these VHS tapes to uncover the events.

About the Game

You are Joseph, an agent of the US Department of Temporal Phenomena, sent to inhabit and investigate an abandoned house in Mandela County, where an entire family has vanished without a trace.

Across the county, thousands of disappearances and unexplained murders have been reported. Witnesses claim to see the missing walking among them… but not quite as they remember. Subtle differences. Wrong expressions. Something is off.

Relive the Department’s classified VHS tapes and uncover the truth behind these anomalies.

Observe carefully.

Trust nothing.

Some things are pretending to be like us.

A psychological VR horror experience that drags you deep into the uncanny valley.

What you'll find

You will find intriguing puzzles to solve, a story about an agent from the US Department of Temporal Phenomena that was sent to a house to investigate why so many inhabitans and visitors disappear without leaving a trace. You'll have to survive several nights without any help, hiding from threats and trying to escape in this psychological horror game in virtual reality.

You'll be stalked by The Preacher, Adam Murray's alternate and more, bringing the very best of analog horror into this paralizing experience.

Mechanics

Here you'll use your hands in virtual reality to interact with the environment, open doors, turn valves and much more, to solve puzzles that will make you progress in the game.

You will be able to hide inside closets to avoid threats and survive.

There's no inventory system, no cluttered UI, just you and your hands, having to take things around the house in the game to be able to escape with evidence, and use your exploration skills to get out of complicated situations.
