About the Game

The lone game developer thought, sipping his cold coffee:

"What if I made a classic noir detective game, but with some twists? A little jazz in the background. A few bad jokes. Maybe throw in some characters with actual feelings, just for fun. Have them go through some real life shit. How about that?”

And so, Man of Nollyn was born.

Not all detectives wear fedoras and trench coats. Man of Nollyn is the story of young adults who grew up too fast, solving brutal crimes, and making mistakes along the way. You'll be playing as Vin Virosa, a street-borne private eye with a foul mouth and a dark past. Your clients are Katherine and Chloe, two ambitious police officers looking to prove themselves.

Unique investigation mechanisms: Bribery & Intimidation

Stuck on something? Need a hint? In Man of Nollyn, you don't get that by asking nicely. Bribe suspects with money, or even shove a gun in their face to discover the truth. Not the noblest act, but hey. What’s the worst that could happen?

Features

  • A side-scrolling noir-style detective game with sharp wit and biting satire

  • Bribe suspects or intimidate them into spilling their secrets

  • Short answer questions. A real detective wouldn’t just guess, right?

  • Rich jazz soundtrack. Really makes you feel like an actual genius.
