Escape: Malice is a two-player only co-op horror puzzle adventure that combines escape room-inspired challenges, exploration, and Japanese-inspired supernatural terror.
Invite a friend to play as a pair of travellers who visit a mysterious temple in modern-day Japan. A sudden earthquake creates a sinkhole and plunges you both into the darkness, where you land in front of a foreboding mansion. Navigate your way through the ancient building and uncover dark secrets while surviving from malicious inhabitants who lurk in the shadows. The only way out of this hellhole is going deeper in… so put on your thinking caps, communicate, and work together if either of you ever wants to see the light of day again.
NOTE: This game can only be played with two players — no more, no less.
Unique Story & Lore
A unique storyline that spans multiple eras, dropping players directly into the mystery. Players will journey to different locations of an ancient Edo-era settlement, ending in an unspeakable dimension where something even more sinister lies waiting…
Play through three chapters and discover the history and secrets of the mansion and its inhabitants through hand-drawn cutscenes and numerous character interactions.
