About the Game

A project from a one man dev team, MALEDICTOR is a boomer shooter inspired by classics such as Blood, DOOM, and Duke Nukem.

Take the role of the resurrected Clayton in his fight against the Cult of the Maledictor. MALEDICTOR puts an importance on difficult gameplay, high impact weapons, tight movement, and a dark bloody ambience. Avoiding hitscanners, dodging projectiles, evading traps, managing your resources, and committing to an attack are crucial in making it through this boomer shooter where the enemies are as dangerous as you are.

MALEDICTOR features:

  • Classic FPS atmosphere

  • Twelve weapons ranging from a 10mm pistol all the way up to an A-10 strafing run

  • Hand-painted sprite-based gameplay

  • A unique radio show per non-boss level featuring ghost stories, game trivia, conspiracy theories, history, and more

  • Easter eggs and references to some games you might know

  • Seven playable arcade games with tracking high scores and prizes
