About the Game

The rent is late. Var shares Kobb House with Dre and Spoo, and the arguments are familiar.

Between shifts, Var writes in an old house book. What she records begins to shape the people who cross the kitchen threshold.

As the house grows quieter, the changes become harder to dismiss. MAKING ROOM? is a psychological horror story about resentment, consent, and the people we try to make easier to live with.

Features

  • A short, single-sitting psychological horror visual novel, with time to read and choose at your own pace.
  • Themes of resentment, consent, identity erasure, and the urge to control the people you live with.
  • Three distinct endings shaped by your choices about control, erasure, and consent.
  • Seven dialogue choices that test whether a quieter home is worth changing the people inside it.
  • Stylized character portraits and cinematic close-ups in a cramped shared house that grows unsettlingly orderly.
  • Off-kilter keyboard motifs, fridge hum, pipe resonance, and long gaps where familiar sounds begin to disappear.
