About the Game

[MAKINA] is an action-adventure game that blends a powerful narrative, heavy mech action, and thrilling stealth action.

Story

133 years ago, the civilization of the old world was destroyed in the 'War of the Worlds', a global conflict fought over Emotion Energy; a power source generated from human emotion itself. The few remnants of humanity now live in constant fear and anxiety, yet they remain utterly dependent on this very energy. 

'Neo Sol', a small settlement built within a repurposed subway station, maintains a fragile, quiet existence centered around Emotion Energy and pilotable exoskeleton mechs known as 'Makina'. However, this peace was not meant to last. A minor mistake by rookie Makina pilot 'Cheshire' triggers a devastating attack on Neo Sol by the powerful faction called 'Alpha'. In the ensuing tragedy, all innocent citizens are abducted. 

Swearing bloody revenge against Alpha, Cheshire boards Rasha, a dangerous Makina that amplifies emotion and desire, and infiltrates Alpha’s mega city, Tempest.

Join Cheshire as he explores a retro post-apocalyptic world inspired by cassette futurism. Defeat Alpha’s leaders — a scientist, an architect, a K-pop idol group, and the director — and tear down their sinister grand design.
