Makarov Math Suite

160 interactive mathematics experiments: turn a Rubik's cube into group theory, walk through a 3D maze, zoom into the Mandelbrot set, fit a curve, follow an algorithm step by step. Change an input and see the structure respond. 23 interface languages, runs offline.

About the Game

Makarov Math Suite contains 160 interactive experiments in geometry, topology, fractals, analysis, linear algebra, probability, statistics, number theory, graphs and computation. Change an input, follow an algorithm one step at a time or compare a numerical result with what the mathematics predicts.

Shapes and surfaces: torus knots, non-orientable surfaces and a Klein bottle, minimal surfaces, four-dimensional polytopes and their sections, supershapes, polyhedra that unfold.

Fractals and chaos: a deep Mandelbrot zoom that shows where numerical precision runs out, Julia sets, distance-field fractals, Newton basins, the logistic map, chaotic attractors.

Algorithms and games: a 3D maze lab, Dijkstra and graph search, sorting races, backtracking, Huffman coding, Enigma, RSA, Turing machines, the Tower of Hanoi, the prisoner's dilemma.

Algebra and symmetry: Rubik's cube as a permutation group, wallpaper groups, Burnside's lemma, eigenvectors and singular values, Gaussian elimination.

Probability and statistics: Buffon's needle, the Galton board, the central limit theorem, Bayes' rule, Kalman filtering, Simpson's paradox, Benford's law.

Visualizations show intermediate states, constructions, counts and errors where they matter. Some modules animate exact discrete algorithms; others solve differential equations or use statistical sampling. Three-dimensional objects stand on a lit table you can turn and zoom; change a parameter, repeat an experiment and inspect how the result changes.

Browse the rotating carousel or switch to the searchable grid. Experiments run locally and offline: for study, classroom demonstrations or open-ended exploration.

Menu translations cover 23 languages. Translation depth varies by module; some explanations and controls use English outside the English and Russian versions.
