Magna Graecia is a relaxing puzzle game with city-building elements designed in Ancient Greek. Expand your village by placing houses and gaining new tiles. Place your buildings and resources strategically and receive adjacency bonuses. Upgrade them by forming triangles to get better yields. And finally, collect olives and grapes to unlock even more houses.
Each turn you get a random building or resource — from an olive farm to a wheat field. A house adds all neighboring tiles to your village. You receive bonuses when buildings of the same type are adjacent to each other — build clusters to get a high score. You can upgrade your buildings and resources by forming triangles out of 3 objects of the same type, where each is adjacent to the other two. The higher the level, the higher the yields!
There are 2 resources in Magna Graecia — olives and grapes. In exchange for them, you can get additional houses and continue expanding the village. Olive and grape fields produce these resources, while farms collect them. To obtain olives and grapes, you need to place farms and fields together. Each adjacency will give you 1 olive / grape. The higher the level of your farms and fields, the more resources you get!
Game mechanics are inspired by Dorfromantik and Triple Town.
Graphic design is inspired by Islanders and Kingdoms and Castles.
