Mrs. Jones has woken up in the fantastic world of magic... Magic Trickery is a shorter-but-sweeter casual RPG for all skill levels with a cozy pixelled overworld and traditional turn-based stylized cartoon battles, with a focus on exploration, collectibles and finding secrets at your own pace.
Totally indie! Support a little indie dev! Scenario, writing, art, music and programming all by me, some guy you've never heard of.
Story-based! A good-hearted plot about understanding others from vulnerable circumstances, recovery, and self-forgiveness. Also, jokes.
Lovingly densely packed! A shorter-but-sweeter RPG that respects your time, with a surprise around every corner. There's always something magical!
Traditional turn-based combat! Defeat foes with a variety of magical cards discovered in the overworld, with wild utility such as applying yourself with power-enhancing risky "Diamonds" that will self-destruct with enough chip damage.
Go anywhere you want! Spades, Diamonds, Hearts, Clubs... where will you go first? What mysterious factions await you ahead?
Find all the spell cards! A suit of 13 cards awaits you in each area, totalling a full deck of 52 cards to collect! Each card permanently unlocks a new attack for battle!
Defeat corrupt magicians! From entertaining birthday parties to kidnapping children, these evil magicians must be stopped!
