You've had enough of the idiots who own the city. For years, you've worked under other families, following orders from people who somehow managed to make every bad decision look like a business strategy. They call themselves "Bosses". You call them brainless morons. So, naturally, you decide to start your own family.

Starting with just a few members and limited cash, build your criminal family from the ground up and turn it into the most powerful family in the city. Make important decisions as a mafia boss and build pizza branches to boosts your family's income. Recruit loyal (and hopefully competent) members, expand your territory and take districts controlled by other families.

Of course, they won't just hand over their district. You'll have to outsmart, outfight and occasionally out-idiot your competition. The city is full of wannabe mobsters. They think they are safe and deserve to rule it. Prove them wrong and take over the city.
