Mafate is a cozy game where you play as a mail carrier who captures breathtaking photographs and delivers letters to the warm-hearted inhabitants of Mafate, a secluded valley in the heart of an Indian Ocean island.

Accompanied by Luna, a young Creole girl transformed into a camera, take control of animals to access hidden areas and explore this cozy and magical world. Care for the animals, interact with the villagers, solve their little troubles, and bring harmony and life to your surroundings.

Subtly identify unique life moments, each offering distinct possibilities. Position yourself for the perfect shot. Experiment with and evaluate your composition through an innovative rating system.

Luna’s spirit can leave the camera and possess specific animals. Explore hidden areas using their unique abilities. Unlock new interactions and solve puzzles by tapping into their instincts.

Mafate tells the story of Luna, a young Creole girl who, after spending her entire life in mainland France, returns to her native island, Réunion, to comfort her grandmother following her grandfather’s passing. A mysterious event transports her back in time, transforming her into a camera. She finds herself in the Réunion of the 1970s, witnessing the first delivery route of a man who would become a legend—the Mafate mail carrier.
