About the Game

...What if the proof you existed started deleting you?

In Mado Marks, a short (~30 minute) psychological horror visual novel, you follow a group of students who discover a door at the back of their classroom... A door that should not be there.

One day, they record vertical videos to their future selves...

The videos start as a joke. Half-cringe, half-sincere... Messages to the people they hope they might become.

Then they leave the room. It is the next morning.

The school says they were absent for an entire day. Their phones say only minutes passed. Attendance records are wrong.

And then one of them disappears...

Through subtle choices and shifting memories, decide how the remaining students respond...

Key Features:

  • Short but impactful psychological horror visual novel, with each playthrough lasting around 30 minutes.

  • A focused narrative about memory, identity, proof, friendship, and the fear of becoming impossible to remember.

  • A confined school setting built around one ordinary classroom and one impossible room behind it.

  • Choice-driven progression that shapes how the characters interpret corrupted videos, altered records, and disappearing memories.

  • Three distinct endings based on whether the remaining students preserve the proof, reject it, or become part of the erasure themselves.

  • Grunge-inspired school atmosphere with liminal classroom spaces and low-key supernatural dread.

  • Original ambient soundtrack built around fluorescent hum, distorted audio...
