Lyerion Clash is a multiplayer sandbox RPG in virtual reality inspired by ancient heroic myths and classic old-school MUDs. Lyerion Clash drops you into a rich, living RPG sandbox where every spear, loaf, and NPC is tracked by a backend server, ensuring a fully persistent world that evolves with every player action, even when you’re offline.

Explore a rich, immersive world inspired by the Archaic Age of the Mediterranean and the dramatic depictions of classical heroic art. An ancient dark age is ending, and yielding to a golden one — built by the deeds of mortal players struggling for power, survival, and glory.

Lyerion is an inhabited, living world, and not based on isolated matches or re-settable lobbies. When you log on, you will share space with whoever else happens to be online - no matter what their intentions may be! Full PvP is enabled by default outside of safe zones: every player you meet could become a trusted ally or a sudden threat.

Every weapon, tool, and piece of armor in Lyerion exists because a player made it. Gather raw materials, smelt copper and tin into bronze, bake bread in clay ovens, and forge the gear your survival depends on. There are no NPC shop: if you want it, you’ll need to craft it, trade for it, or take it by force!

Forget button-mashing or attack spamming to drain HP bars. Hoplites are accurately modeled as ancient tanks, and strong armor can easily deflect poorly placed blows. Players must target exposed flesh in order to land kills, or strike at just the right angle to penetrate enemy bronze!

No more knocking things off shelves in your living your room. Lyerion uses a unique combat system that captures the emotional intensity of man-to-man melee while still being physically relaxing. It is fully accessible for both seated and standing play.

As a traditional RPG, Lyerion lets you grow stronger over time and shape your character to match your playstyle. Invest in different stats, experiment with unique builds, and adapt your approach to fit the role you want to play: whether that’s a heavily armored frontline fighter, a fast-moving skirmisher, or non-combat resource gatherer.

Lyerion is an immersive world that demands you fight to survive. Hunger, thirst, and disease are constant threats: forage, trade, or raid other players’ supplies to stay alive in Lyerion’s unforgiving world. And don’t forget to bathe!
