About the Game

LunaGenesis is set in Brume, a rat-folk megastructure built in the twilight band of a tidally locked world, where society is obsessed with plague and death.

When Rill's sister is taken by the secretive Collegium Eudamonia, Rill performs a forbidden ritual and tears the Student's Moon from the sky to create Scary Moonchild. Scary Moonchild is an avatar of Will, bound to all who believe in the moon.

Move between third-person exploration in Brume and first-person dream sequences. In town, avoid observation and gather clues. In dreams, navigate surreal memories and nightmarish intrusions, where you will need to balance your lucidity to access powers without causing yourself to wake up.

  • Sneak through the theocratic plague-town of Brume - hide from clerics and informants watching the streets.

  • Enter infected dreams - explore memories, fears, and the surreal inner worlds of plague-stricken townsfolk.

  • Manage Lucidity - use dream power carefully. Lucidity gives Scary Moonchild strength to perform abilities, but this heightened awareness can pull you back into the waking world.

  • Commune with Dream Eggs - find Dream Eggs to rekindle Will in the sick and strengthen Scary Moonchild's connection to Brume.

  • Encounter bizarre puzzles - decode interfaces and rituals with dream logic, and uncover clues woven into dreams and the waking world.

  • Expose the Collegium - follow conversations, memories, and clues toward the truth hidden in the upper city.
