About the Game

The neon-filledworld of LuminaRun, a fast-paced endless runner that blends retro aesthetics with retro gameplay. Inspired by the classics of the ‘80s and ’90s, this game is a heartfelt homage to the endless runners I grew up playing.

LuminaRun features two distinct gameplay modes:

  • Timed Challenge: Dash through a vibrant, obstacle-laden course where every second counts. Your goal: to reach the set distance as quickly as possible. But watch out—every collision with an obstacle will slow you down, testing your reflexes and precision.

  • Endless Mode: Push your skills to the limit as you race through an infinite course, dodging obstacles to keep your run alive. One wrong move, and it’s game over!

Both modes are set to a backdrop of great synthwave visuals and accompanied by seven darkwave/retro soundtracks, designed to immerse you in the adrenaline-pumping atmosphere of the neon era.

The controls are simple: left right and jump to control a little ship that moves faster and faster.  

LuminaRun is a passion project built with love for the genre. Whether you’re a fan of endless runners or just looking for a nostalgic throwback to retro gaming, I hope you’ll enjoy the ride.
