15 itemsAbout the Game
The early 2000s. After the collapse of the USSR, no unified state rose in its place. Scattered groups survive in the ruins of the former republics — each with their own order, codes, and morality. A global resource shortage has turned these lands into a magnet for marauders from across the world. Power belongs only to those who can hold it.
Lost Lives is a 2D side-scrolling shooter where you explore procedurally generated locations, fight AI and other players, collect loot and develop your character. The game features multiple modes set in post-Soviet locations, different enemy factions, a variety of weapons, and dynamic weather.
Features:
Five game modes. Co-op against bots for 1–4 players, Deathmatch PvP, Gun Game, Team Deathmatch, and Endless waves of enemies.
Procedural generation. Location layouts, loot placement, AI behavior, and time of day vary between sessions on select maps.
NATO and Warsaw Pact weaponry. Different recoil, accuracy, and handling characteristics. Armor-piercing rounds, grenades, and modifications.
Looting. Find items from the Soviet and post-Soviet era to sell or trade for better gear.
Gear. Body armor, helmets, and backpacks of various classes. Armor level and ammunition type determine the outcome of a fight.
Advanced AI. Bots act situationally: they advance, retreat, take cover, surrender, heal, use grenades, and operate in groups.
Factions. Several groups with their own interests and backstories.
Daily tasks. Objectives refresh every day, with rewards contributing to overall progression.
Leaderboards. Separate PvE and PvP rankings with seasons.
Weather and time of day. Dynamic conditions: day-night cycle, rain, fog.
Character customization. Clothing and cosmetic items unlock as you progress.
Voice chat. Proximity chat for talking to nearby players, plus a radio mode for team communication.
No aggressive monetization. No loot boxes, no battle passes, no gear for real money.
