Soren lives in 2208, in a post-apocalyptic Egypt governed by the City-State of New Cairo.
Afflicted with a rare mutation that prevents him from controlling his emotions, he is forced to wear a high-tech implant to store them and must live with his family in the lowest class, where those who threaten the balance of society are placed.
One day, he is offered the unique opportunity to join the upper class in exchange for 7 mysterious Gems hidden in the heart of the desert.
Along his journey through the desert, he will discover the exceptional abilities unleashed by the release of his four primary emotions: fear, anger, sadness, and joy.
