About the Game

A retro pixel-art JRPG.

Hundreds of years ago, the Dark Lord invaded. The Academy, the Church, and the Knight Order suppressed the monsters with three sacred relics, sealing the demon race into another dimension. However, as generations passed, for unknown reasons, the ancient seal weakened, and monsters began to appear frequently again. The new generations of the Academy, Church, and Knight Order sent their marginalized members to deal with problems piecemeal—these marginalized figures are our protagonists, who experienced their own moments of enlightenment while addressing the crises…

Our protagonists are not born heroes—they are marginalized members of various factions, sent to handle trivial crises everywhere. Yet in their adventures, they accidentally uncover the secret behind the seal and foresee the impending apocalypse.

When authorities ignore warnings, when disputes tear apart the alliance, and when disaster arrives as expected, these "lonely" heroes will break free from the shackles of their identities, fight fate with trivial strength, find hope in bonds, and write their own redemption journey in despair. Featuring classic JRPG exploration, puzzles, and turn-based combat, paired with retro pixel art and healing soundtracks, your choices will affect the fates and endings of the protagonist group, letting you revisit the pure warmth, depth, and touch of classic JRPGs in your adventure.

Main Characters

Emillia

Emillia: A young girl from the inland studying at the Magic Academy. She was admitted for her talent in earth magic, but due to little exposure to water since childhood, water magic is her weakness. Unable to meet the water magic graduation requirement, she is in an extended graduation status, yet still sent by her mentor to carry out lateral tasks. Her wish—is it perhaps to graduate and get her degree???

Sharona

Sharona: Born into a church family, both her parents are clergymen. Influenced from an early age, Sharona has been a devout believer. Her idol is Evia, a nun from the hero team that sealed the Dark Lord hundreds of years ago—because Evia later became the first and only female pope in church history. But Sharona is ashamed to admit to others that her dream is also to become a pope. Everyone thinks Evia’s election was due to many historical coincidences, and in Sharona’s time, selecting another female pope is simply a pipe dream.

Aryo

Aryo: A blind swordsman. Though blind, his heart is clear and bright. Despite his immense strength, he was ostracized even after struggling to enter the Royal Knight Order because of his congenital blindness, only given trivial, marginal tasks. Yet he is an aspiring, idealistic swordsman who hopes to protect those he cares about.

Aiden

Aiden: It is said that Aiden once worked at the country’s top opera house and almost became the chief musician. No one knows why, but Aiden later left the opera house and became a wandering bard. His ideal is to awaken the conscience of humanity through poetry, music and art.

Martha

Martha: The illegitimate daughter of a tavern maid in a small fishing village. She was looked down upon by the villagers and envied of beauty by the village women since childhood. During an incident of demon mischief, she was wrongfully accused of being a witch. Fortunately, the protagonist group eliminated the real culprit and proved Martha’s innocence. After being vindicated, Martha resolved to leave the small fishing village to see the broader world beyond (and incidentally find her biological father). Her hobby is dancing, and her dream—maybe to marry a rich man and become a noble lady???
