About the Game

A head-to-head strategy "board" game played on a grid of face-up standard playing cards. Easy to learn and play, but very difficult to master. Luck will not help you - the better player wins. Play against eight computer opponents employing different strategies; or play against a human opponent, either in-person or via Steam's Remote Play Together. Compatible with mouse and touchscreen devices - touch-friendly.

RULES, GUIDE, EXAMPLES and TIPS are available in-game via the RULES button.

Try if for free with the FREE MINI-DUEL game.  If you like it, get the full version with different and tougher computer opponents, selectable card back designs, more game modes, an optional timer, and larger grid sizes.

THREE EXPANDED PLAYING OPTIONS:

2 GAMES ON SAME CARDS - Two consecutive games played on the same cards each game, and alternating who goes first. The truest test in the game. With latest update, this option is now available on all grid sizes.

TIMER - To speed up play, a 20 or 30 second timer may be selected on 5x4 grid-sized games; and a 30 second timer may be selected on 6x5 grid-sized games.

QUESO-BOT CHALLENGE! single player mode.

When playing in this higher difficulty configuration (Player 1 = QUESO-BOT; Player 2 = HUMAN; Grid = 6x5 [one game]), the game will track your win streak and provide customized feedback based on your performance. (FYI - I rarely win in this mode, my longest win "streak" is an ignominious "2", and I genuinely hope you do better. - JW.)
