Lines: A Gift For Mom

I reprogrammed a classic elimination game as a birthday gift for my mom to thank her for family dedication, and to honor all mothers. When moving balls, 5+ same-colored balls in a line (any direction) will be eliminated.

About the Game

Present this game as a token of your appreciation to someone who deserves it. The prototype of this game is a decades-old classic that my mother adores. Whenever she needs some leisure time, she would open it to play.

But as time has passed, my mother's eyesight is no longer what it used to be. The original game, due to its inherent limitations, cannot be enlarged—even on a very large monitor, it still appears as a small window. Moreover, on the Chinese internet, it is almost impossible to find an ad-free version of the original game. Every installation comes with a bundle of unwanted software that clutters my mother's computer. To ensure my mother can continue to enjoy her moments of joy, I have decided to personally rewrite this game as a birthday gift for her, in gratitude for all she has done for our family. I hope she will like it, and I wish all mothers a happy time in their later years.

The rules of the game are very simple: Click on a ball, then click on its destination—if the path is clear, it will move there. If at least five balls of the same color line up in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally), they will be eliminated. Try to score as many points as possible before the board is filled!

PS: The game interface is designed with a retro style to ease my mother's adaptation to the new game. For any text issues or to add congratulatory messages, please contact customer service email.
