About the Game

Eat magical plants, explore a strange land, and uncover the Legacy of The Botanist. 

Note: This game is in mid-development - many of the visuals and all of the UI is unfinished

Legacy of The Botanist places you on an island inhabited by strange flora that give the player advanced powers of exploration. However, you aren't the first to discover this place. A long-gone figure known as The Botanist has left a strange infrastructure - and a dark mystery - in their wake.

What you can expect from The Botanist:

  • The plants are magical - Each of the five plants in the botanist provide the player with a new way to navigate the world - From enhanced jumps, to sticky feet, to gravity inversion. 

  • Exploration is key - Short cuts, game-altering artifacts, and environmental clues mean that those with wander lust will be rewarded.

  • Gardening is optional - As you run out of the plants you find, you can always grow more with seeds from each plant.

  • A mystery is afoot - The Botanist came before you, but what did they leave behind? Hidden graves, strange plaques, and more.
