Do you enjoy card games but have found that you have no friends that live nearby? Do you also get tired of playing with the same old cards over and over? Have you ever thought, "I need a game that I can customize to my friend group's twisted inside jokes?"
Well, first of all, go to therapy. Seriously. You probably need it. But if you can't afford that, then let me introduce you to Laugh it Up!
The goal of Laugh It Up is to win! (DUH)
"How do I win Laugh It Up?", you might ask. Good question!
You can customize your own decks of cards, play the best cards ever, and even apply gameplay modifiers (like the ability to write in an answer mid-game) to spice up your matches. If you are clever enough, you will have some pretty good notes to show your therapist and maybe squeak out a win.
Using our totally patented and definitely legal trademarked Funny Forge
card editor, you can spread your cancerous sense of humor (seriously though, save up for therapy) to a group of three to six players (who probably also need therapy) in private or public lobbies. Make long-winded prompts or gut-busting one liners to win points and, most importantly, bragging rights to your friends!
Winning games earns you levels, and levels earn you tokens that you can spend on custom card skins, card fonts, card highlights, and even game modes to extend the fun for countless millennium of laughter and memories.
Or more things to unpack in therapy, whichever you prefer!
Laugh It Up is a labor of love made by two buddies in our free-time. It has been our dream getting to work on this game but we want to add more! We want you, the player to be able to share your hilarious (or dumb depending on how people see your sense of humor) custom decks with everyone through Steam Workshop. We want to port the game over to Mac, that way you can play with your loser Mac friends. If our game is popular enough we will add this and more for free! So here is our roadmap that we will update!
20/0100 copies sold - Custom nicknames so you don't have to use your boring, stinky, and old Steam name.
20/0500 copies sold - New decks will be added that can be unlocked.
20/1000 copies sold - Steam Workshop will be implemented so you can share your totally not copyrighted from other games custom decks with the world.
20/5000 copies sold - A mac port (Our condolences for playing games on a Mac instead of PC).
20/10,000 copies sold - A 6th gamemode so you have even more to talk about with your therapist!
