About the Game

Lanelord is a chaotic, fast‑paced multiplayer game where the road comes alive — and one of you controls it. In this unique 2‑player (4‑player planned) experience, a rolling, shifting lane winds through a procedurally generated world while a second player drives an agile little car on its back. Whether you work together or try to sabotage each other depends entirely on the game mode.

Two Roles. Two Goals. Endless Chaos.

  • Road Player: Shape, twist and tilt the lane in real time. Create smooth paths… or deadly traps.

  • Car Player: Stay on the road, react fast, and survive whatever madness the road throws at you.

Every run is different thanks to procedural generation, unpredictable terrain, and dynamic item drops that can help you survive — or help you ruin someone else’s day.

Game Modes

Co‑op Mode

Team up as Road and Car to travel as far as possible. Communicate, synchronize, and master the rhythm of movement to push your shared high score.

Versus Mode

Pure chaos. The Road tries to throw the Car off its back, while the Car fights to stay on. Use items, tricks, and timing to outplay your opponent.

Ranked Mode

Climb the ladder in competitive 1v1 matches. Play as Road or Car and face off against other players through matchmaking. Precision, prediction, and mind games decide the winner.

Online Multiplayer

Play with friends through the Steam friends list or join public lobbies via the built‑in lobby browser. Quick to learn, hard to master — perfect for short sessions or long competitive grinds.
