About the Game

KILLPHRASE is a frantic typing-shooter set in a mile-deep megastructure. Once a robotics facility, it is now the source of a malignant AI ravaging the world. You are a human survivor, riding a hacked freight elevator to the heart of mechanical hell... to execute the final killphrase. Face off against the masses of deranged machines, and use your typing speed and accuracy to reduce them to scrap.

KEY FEATURES

  • Type to Terminate: Each correct keystroke fires your gun. Finish the word or phrase to obliterate your target. 

  • GUN JAMMED!!: Mistypes jam your gun. Clear the jam before a robot self-destructs in your face.

  • Tactical EMP: Typing charges your EMP. Discharge it to freeze incoming robots, and outright destroy smaller units.

  • Branching Paths: The elevator junctions split your path. No two descents are the same. 

  • Boss Encounters: Heavy-duty machines intercept your descent.

  • Records: Check your FASTEST WORDS, hunt ACHIEVEMENTS, and climb the LEADERBOARDS.

  • Short play-sessions: 30-40 minute runs, EASY to EXPERT modes, Ironman, and an unlockable Infinite Mode.

  • Lexicon: Extensive thematic vocabulary and dialogue.

THE DESCENT

As you ride the elevator down, you will take breaks at maintenance floors to stock up, and meet junctions which give you tactical choices. Will you risk the harder path for more resources and a higher potential score? The safer route for a breather? Or take on a themed word zone? Try your luck in the TRIAGE SECTOR, where robots will diagnose you with impossibly rare conditions, and try to "cure" you (by killing you).

At the bottom of the facility lies The Terminus. Survive the facility's greatest challenge to enter Infinite Mode, where you will push your fingers to their absolute limits.
