About the Game

Kibreet | كبريت is a psychological arabfolk horror game set in the early 2000s deep in the deserts of rural Saudi Arabia. You play as a father, estranged from his wife and daughter, returning to their remote village home after a late-night accident on the road.

He carries a box of matches meant to light his daughter’s birthday candles but the house is empty and the silence feels wrong. Every match you strike exposes memories of shame and something watching from the dark.

Lighting a match requires precision where a small skillcheck determines whether the flame catches or dies.
