About the Game

Kene Benai is an adventure inspired by the worldview of the Shipibo-Konibo people. You accompany Reshin, a young girl who begins the Waste Kene (Pipiri) ritual to enter the spirit world and recover the four Kené she needs to complete her weaving and become a great artisan.

You’ll explore four spiritual worlds, each with its own guardian, visual style, and unique challenges. The game blends 2D platforming, runner-style levels, guardian spirit battles, and memory and collection minigames. Along the journey, you’ll hear authentic voices in the Shipibo language and unlock a Word Album with terms, symbols, and creatures from the Shipibo-Konibo universe.

Main Features

Four worlds to discover: Travel through the realms of the sky, earth, water, and knowledge:

  • Joxin Nete – The Red World

  • Joxo Nete – The White World

  • Wiso Nete – The Black World

  • Panshin Nete – The Yellow World

Each world offers a special trial that grants you a Kené needed to progress.

Character Progression

Reshin starts with basic abilities, but by gathering Kenés she’ll unlock new ways to move and fight, such as double jump, enhanced attacks, and additional moves.

Shawan Kaya – Macaw Spirit Allows you to fly through the heights of Joxo Nete to complete Oxe Tita’s challenge.
