About the Game

KARBAN is a stylized game that transfers the simple rules of the famous Czech card game Prší into a strange, dreamlike world created from modeling clay.

The game is based on the contrast between something very familiar and something foreign. The rules are clear and do not change, but the space in which they take place seems uneasy, almost dreamlike. Each move thus acquires a different meaning, not because of the mechanics, but because of the atmosphere that surrounds it.

KARBAN is not about complexity. It is about feeling. About what it is like to play something completely ordinary in a place that is not ordinary at all.
