About the Game

It was just another peaceful day for Kappa Yo and his pal Tanuki Jo when suddenly the evil Oni Shogun cracked open a portal from Oni World and invaded with his army of yokai! The yokai have kidnapped the princess and even pilfered Yo's stash of cucumbers, what a disaster! Now it’s up to our heroes to defeat the Oni Shogun and his fiendish army, rescue the princess and take back their cucumbers.

Kappa Quest is a fast-paced, retro-inspired action adventure through ancient Japan. Play as either Yo or Jo on a mission to defeat the army of yokai and save the day. Encounter challenging levels full of treacherous tricks and traps. Use Yo and Jo’s special abilities to take down bosses and track down treasure.
