About the Game

The Puzzle

  • To deduce the correct positions for symbols on the game board.

  • 3 rules styles, each of them requires unique deciphering technique.

  • 5 game board sizes: 5x5, 7x7, 9x9, 11x11 and 13x13. From speedy run to mind boggling difficulty to suit all tastes.

The Game

  • Unlike other similar board-based puzzles, no exact solution required. As long as your placement fits all rules the puzzle is solved. The ability to identify equally valid placements fast is an definite advantage.

  • 40+ achievements to unlock!

  • 15 leaderboards for all styles and board size combinations.

  • Comes with a good set of symbols having their own charm. Always feel fresh when playing with a different set of symbols each time. Or face the ultimate challenge of using all symbols from every set in a single game!

  • Import and play using your own symbols.

  • No progression and no grinding. Always ready for a quick fun game session every once in a while with no pressure.

  • Full native gamepad support. The game is fully playable solely with mouse, keyboard or gamepad. You could even mix and use all 3 at the same time to fit your habit.

No Early Access?

My idea is early access means gameplay will likely be massive changed, but Kaidogaku the puzzle is essentially completed. QoLs and bugfixes will come but I rather not give empty promise on new content. I do intended to keep the game alive and will add new gameplay elements if I found they are fun. No DLC is planned. I would assure new updates will always be part of the full game.

In baking/brainstorming

Nice to have features, are under baking:

  • Weekly/Daily challenge with a fixed set of symbol distribution, to see how well you compete with other players under the same circumstances. Need more play data to fine tune the  experience.

  • User adjustable puzzle generator

  • New placement rules and board configurations, in very early brainstorming stage.
