About the Game

Julia is a handcrafted 2D puzzle-platformer inspired by Slavic folklore and set in a magical, decaying forest. You play as Julia, a blind girl who regains her sight after drinking from a mysterious spring deep in the woods. Once a sacred healing place, the spring is now forgotten, the forest around it overtaken by darkness and blight. Embark on an emotional journey through lush handcrafted levels, solve environmental puzzles, discover hidden paths, and meet mystical water spirits who grant you new abilities like double jump, dash, and underwater breathing. Help restore the forest’s beauty and uncover the forgotten history of the shrine, the spring, and the land’s people.
