About the Game

Cynthia went looking for an urban legend to document for a college project. By the time she arrived, her friends had already been rewritten by the fog.

Her only tool runs on batteries

Each tape turns a battery into something different: fast enough to outrun what's chasing her, quiet enough to slip by unseen, calm enough to keep her steady when everything else isn't.

Rescue isn't the goal. Recognition is.

Each of Cynthia's three friends has been changed by the fog in a different way: personalities twisted, bonds broken. Finding them is just the start, figuring out who they've become and how to save them is a whole other question.

A soundtrack with two moods, hers and the town's.

The ambient score grows heavier as Cynthia's stress rises. The tapes play their own songs, untouched by any of it: the one steady thing in a town that keeps changing.

Secrets lay within the town, yet to be discovered

Survival means paying attention. Reading the town's environment, solving its puzzles, and staying unseen. You're left to figure it out yourself.

To sum it up:

  • Third-person survival horror, no combat

  • 8+ hours of gameplay with multiple endings

  • A hidden radio to collect and replay every tape in full

  • Environmental storytelling through notes, puzzles, and the world itself

  • Low-poly, PS1-era visuals
