About the Game

Story

A nameless monk sits down to meditate beneath a sacred tree in Neo-Osaka, only to discover he has been cursed by the Time Yokai. Helplessly, he tries to rid his body of the corruption — a curse on Time. He must track down and eradicate the Time Yokai so his own soul can be purified. The mechanics of his curse are punishing: as the monk moves, the world around him grinds to a crawl, but the moment he stops, the world tirelessly accelerates, moving faster and faster. Without rest, he must take on bounties to hunt down and vanquish Yokai to save himself. Survive relentless waves and bend reality as you make your way to the final confrontation to strike down the Time Yokai himself.
