Story:
You were born a bastard, your father was king yet your family struggles to get by. Your mother told you he was going to legitimize you but passed away too suddently. You belive your mother, better yet you feel it in your bones. You were meant to be king, you have always had a natural ability to lead. Its time to venture forth and claim your destiny. "I'll come back a king, or not at all". Those were the last words you told her before heading deep into the forest.
Features:
World Map:
The world map is where everything starts. its where you recruit units, trade, choose your targets, talk with other lords, form alliances and deal with diplomacy.
Combat:
When you enter into combat with another army, town or village you will be loaded into a 3d combat map. There you will face the enemy army while commanding your own. Form your troops into formations, take strategic positions and defeat your enemy. If you win the battle you will be provided with loot and if you attacked a village or town you will now be able to loot it for alot of money or capture it for a smaller but stable income in the form of weekly taxes.
Recruit Troops:
Troops can be recruited from villages. They start off as low level levies and have to be leveled up in battles to later become hardened heavily armored warriors.
Wages:
having troops costs money, they will be expected to be paied every week based on their rank so make sure you have enough silver or they will quickly leave your party.
Villages:
Villages provide trade and troops. They can also be raided or captured but they are all guarded with garrisons so you should be ready before attacking one. Once captured villages will pay weekly taxes based on their prosperity. The more villages get raided the less taxes they bring in so make sure to garrison them well and keep them defended.
Cities:
Cities provide better equipment and can also be captured or raided. They are alot stronger garrisoned and have stronger defences but also pay alot more during a sucessfull raid or in weekly taxes.
The kingdom is yours for the taking, time to claim your destiny.
