About the Game

Into a Picture Book Someone Stopped Drawing

This is a picture book someone stopped drawing. The ink has dried, the story has broken off, and its inhabitants are slowly being forgotten. Two stationery guardians journey through 99 pages to reclaim the lost tale.

Cards That Vanish When Used

Cards are consumable—once played, that card is gone forever. You don't "build" a deck; you decide when and where to spend a finite hand. Every move carries weight, like the scrolls and staves of a classic roguelike.

Two Guardians

Pick two of four guardians for a dual party, each with their own HP, level, and equipment. A fallen ally can only return through a revival item—save it, or spend it now? Deepening the bond between the pair opens new paths in both story and battle.

Growth & Equipment

Defeat enemies to level up. Equip sword (attack), shield (defense), and bookmark (special effects), then forge and enchant them at the smithy. Cards, gear, and economy must all work together to reach the depths.

99 Floors, and What Waits at the Bottom

Ninety-nine floors unlock stage by stage, with 10 bosses standing in your way. And on the deepest page, something waits for the two of them. What it is—you'll only learn at journey's end.

A World Drawn in Ink

Every scene is hand-drawn in monochrome ink—a storybook world whose dried-ink textures mirror the sorrow of a tale fading away.
