Choose the role you wish to play in the world of Inequalis: gather your party and shoot down the enemy hordes as defender or bring chaos and sow destruction as the villain.
Playing in a first-person mode, you can defend your castle with up to 4 other player teammates against the solo Villain. Blast your way through the invading forces and banish the villain from your reality by performing mystical rituals.
Playing in real-time strategy mode, you play alone against a team of 5. Control armies of monsters, sneaking, destroying, and overrunning the defenders. Destroy their castle with cunning or simple brute force, but do it before they complete the magic rituals.

- Shoot and kill monsters - Stop them from destroying the town’s gates and buildings
- Coordinate with your teammates - Help each other to prevent the monster's entry
- Complete all the rituals - scattered around the map they seal the dark portals
- Sow Destruction - Starting with a few monsters, destroy buildings and players to gain chaos.
- Build up your army - Spend chaos to increase your army’s variety, numbers, and abilities
- Strike the finishing blow - Overrun the defenders and destroy the heart of the castle
