EMBARK ON A DARK JOURNEY DOWN BELOW
IN THE DARK is a 2D metroidvania taking inspiration from modern indie hits and old classics. It involves various segments of platforming and combat as you explore deeper into a dark and unknown world full of friends, enemies, and everything in between.Unlock new abilities that allow you to traverse and explore more of the world. Find hidden upgrades to increase your damage and health. Collect pieces of the map to the view the world in full.
Every time you die, your shadow appears to lend a hand. He'll follow your every input, and is a helpful friend in combat.
Defeat over 10 types of enemies and their accompanying shadows, 5 bosses, and get 3 keys to unlock a gate at the very bottom of the world.
IN THE DARK is about dealing with inner struggle and uncertainty, told in an enigmatic, strange, and mysterious way.
