About the Game

Impossible Machine is a 2.5D point-and-click adventure game, meaning 3D characters placed over 2D backgrounds, where dialogue and experimentation are key to progressing.

Your protagonist receives an unexpected letter. In it, they are given a mission: investigate and clear the name of their uncle, whose reputation has been tarnished by a series of strange events...

Talk to colorful locals while investigating the mystery of the Impossible Machine.

As you progress, you become involved with a community that also needs help. Solving their problems not only brings you closer to the truth, but also unlocks new areas and mechanisms throughout the world.

Explore and interact with characters who provide information that may be completely useless, and collect items that can be combined in unconventional ways.

You can tackle multiple tasks at once, switching between objectives, testing ideas, and discovering how the world's systems interact. Some combinations make perfect sense, others not so much—and a few work better than expected.

Features

Non-linear progression
Tackle different tasks in parallel and progress at your own pace.

2.5D Visual Style
3D characters integrated into pre-rendered 2D backgrounds.

Challenges that combine logic and trial-and-error

No minigames or combat
I don't like them either! So there aren't any. Guaranteed. Just problems, objects, and questionable decisions.
