Immortal Coil

Immortal Coil is a strategy card game with deep deckbuilding and lane-based tactical combat. Wield units, spells, auras, and items from a roster of over 365 cards across five colors with unique synergies and playstyles. Build your strategy throughout a run in the roguelike Adventure Mode or construct a deck from your card collection to take on a series of foes in Gauntlet Mode. Play your way and unlock new cards, cosmetics, and features on your journey to overthrow the Tyrant Gods!

Discover your favorite strategy by combining any of the colors, even up to all five! Strike with the raw aggro of Pink and Gold or scheme to control the game with a Teal, Purple, and Rust deck. You can even go all in on one color and maximize its key strategies.

You will also create a second deck called the Icon Deck which comprises 2 to 5 cards. You draw an Icon every 3 turns starting on Round 3, making the Icons more dependable to draw through the course of a battle! The Icon Deck allows you to guarantee your most powerful units, spells to remove threats, or your crucial synergy pieces to bring a strategy together!

Your enemies' decks are built from the same pool of cards, so you will need to outsmart and outmaneuver them.

Each time you play a card in battle, the enemy has a chance to do the same. Timing your plays and perfecting your card placement is key to victory.

You begin Adventure Mode by combining two starter deck kits and selecting a unique Edict power for the run. Then you will choose your first destination on your journey, each zone has unique encounters focused on particular color identities. As you progress, you can trade cards at bazaars and add new colors to your deck, or hone the colors you already have. You'll find Augments that provide game altering abilities. And after beating a boss, you'll be able to upgrade your Edict power.

Between battles, play World Cards to visit bazaars, find Augments, feast and recover HP, remove cards from your deck, and encounter special events. Each time you play a World Card you draw another. Navigating the world is its own strategic minigame! When you are ready to proceed, you can play the battle World Card.

As you level up and open card packs, you'll unlock new starter decks for Adventure Mode and new cards to trade in the Bazaar! Unlock up to 30 starter decks to pair at the start of your Adventures making each run drastically different.

Ascend a tower of battles in Gauntlet Mode with a deck built from your collection of cards. The Gauntlet tests your deckbuilding prowess and strategic play without any of the game altering mechanics of Adventure Mode. You can play Gauntlet Mode in two formats, with 30 card decks or 50 card decks. Earn Sigils for your victories to spend on card packs to expand your collection!

Your journey in Immortal Coil is built on high skill expression and clever deckbuilding. There are hundreds of cards to collect and unique boards and card sleeves to customize your builds. Ascend the difficulties to unlock Exalted mode for the ultimate challenge!
