Id Echoes is an upcoming old-school RPGMaker 2003 horror game with heavy focus on its atmosphere and the choices players can make on their journey through this strange, damp world.
...Wake up
You have removed your own memories for a purpose now unknown to you. You will journey through a tormented landscape of strange rules, with what you are thinking is - possibly - Hell. You will find people, find your old self, find things that used to be people and what was never human to begin with, as you submerge yourself in the mysterious world loosely inspired by Christian myth.
...Explore forward and discover your past
The game will feature multiple endings depending on the many choices you make on your journey, interesting puzzles to solve in order to progress through the game, a dark and tense atmosphere, bizarre characters to speak to and interact with that will make you feel uncomfortable with your decisions and what you see on your path.
...Exploit your strange powers
While unable to fight back against the horrors you encouter directly, you are not powerless: your abilities become more and more familiar to you as you move forward, uncovering more and more mysteries about the place you find yourself in but never running out of questions. Various kinds of enemies stand between you, human and otherwise... and despite it all, you need to keep moving forward.
