About the Game

In a small village in the northern United States, there are several extraterrestrials who mimic local residents. Your task is to determine who is who and eliminate the aliens. Assisting you in this perilous endeavor are an old pickup truck and a camera.

I Want to Believe is a first-person action game with elements of detective work, simulation, stealth, freedom of action, and driving.

A 2x2 km open world. Your pickup truck is your best friend — it’ll get you anywhere you need, haul cargo, and even play a full country radio station made just for the game, complete with a voiced radio host.

You’re new in town. Aside from being a sharp-eyed detective, your character’s only skill is driving a pickup — so you’ll earn money the way life prepared you for. Make cash while scouting the area for your investigation.

The town has its own eccentrics. Or maybe they’re not crazy at all, just people who know more than the folks around them. Join their club — they might have the info you need to crack the case.

Your instant-print camera is your second best friend. Snap anything that looks suspicious. Ask locals if they’ve seen anything strange. Hunt for clues and pin them to your crime board to piece together the puzzle and expose aliens disguised as humans.

Eliminate the aliens — quietly. You don’t need witnesses or police finding evidence of your crimes. Even if you’re saving humanity, no one will believe you. Don’t leave behind blood, shells, or bodies.

And if all that’s not enough — explore the area and find other ways to have fun.
