Hyper Tanks is an arcade-style arena shooter where shots bounce off walls! Choose from a variety of tank classes, conquer challenging solo & co-op campaigns and battle your friends in chaotic multiplayer modes! Dodge incoming fire, collect powerups and deploy special weapons to survive this action-packed mayhem!

Destroy hordes of enemies in epic campaigns, either solo or in co-op! If you lose all your lives, your run starts over!

• The lore: A rogue AI has compromised the world’s Hyper Grid. As a corporate Hyper Pilot equipped with a state-of-the-art Hyper Tank, you must reclaim the Grid and destroy the machine boss and its subordinates.

• Predictable variety: Each campaign features handcrafted levels in a fixed order to help you master the challenge, but level layouts and enemy spawns may vary between runs to keep you on your toes.

• Customization: Choose a tank with distinct traits and abilities and select its upgrades from randomized rewards throughout the run. The further you progress, the more playable tanks you unlock.

• Tactics: Use clever tactics to overcome the enemy forces' numerical advantage. Ambush unsuspecting foes from behind, bounce your shots around corners, or turn the tide with powerups and special weapons!

• Boss battles: All campaigns end with an epic boss fight that will test your skills. Beat each one to save the Grid!

Battle your friends or bots in action-packed multiplayer modes for up to 4 players!

• Many modes: Play various Skirmish modes with unique rules and objectives, including classics like Deathmatch or Capture the Flag! Some modes can be played either as a free-for-all or as a team battle.

• Arena atmosphere: A classic announcer calls out key highlights during the match. Score a Multi-Frag and bask in the glory!

• Online & offline: Battle your friends in local couch multiplayer, or invite your Steam friends to join you online via Steam Remote Play Together! They don't even need to own the game to join the fun. [additional players require a controller to play]

• CPU players: All modes can be played with or against capable Bots. You can control their difficulty and even give basic commands to your CPU allies!

Switch between two camera perspectives at the press of a button:

• Top-down: Maintain a clear overview of the battlefield with the tactical top-down perspective. The camera dynamically adjusts its position based on nearby threats.

• Third-person: Immerse yourself in the action with the close-up third-person perspective.

• Full control: You can switch between both perspectives at any time during the match. The intuitive controls automatically adapt to your current view mode.

Go in guns blazing or take a more tactical approach with the help of powerful combat effects:

• Powerups: Collect the spawning powerups to enter a temporary Hyper State and gain effects such as increased damage, greater speed, or even stealth!

• Special weapons: Choose from a wide range of impactful special weapons, including homing rockets, defense turrets, fireballs, EMPs, tornados, and many more. Oh and of course there is a grappling hook - because every great game needs one.

• Tank abilities: Each tank has class-specific abilities, such as a charged shot, a defense drone or a short-range teleport. Use them at crucial moments to surprise your foes!
