About the Game

Hwaseo is a Korean folk dark fantasy deckbuilding roguelike set in the fallen Kingdom of Cheonryeon.

Form a party of three characters, build a deck from their unique cards, and face strange beings inspired by Korean folklore. Each battle combines strategic card play with real-time reactions, allowing you to defend, parry, and respond directly to enemy attacks.

Explore ruined villages, forgotten shrines, and cursed lands where old tales have twisted into something darker.

Collect, upgrade, and combine cards inspired by talismans, rituals, and Korean folklore. Shape your deck around offense, defense, support, or powerful character synergies.
